Food, Inc. - Full Movie (720p)
In Food, Inc., filmmaker Robert Kenner lifts the veil on our nation's food industry, exposing the highly mechanized underbelly that's been hidden from the American consumer with the consent of our government's regulatory agencies, USDA and FDA. Our nation's food supply is now controlled by a handful of corporations that often put profit ahead of consumer health, the livelihood of the American farmer, the safety of workers and our own environment. We have bigger-breasted chickens, the perfect pork chop, herbicide-resistant soybean seeds, even tomatoes that won't go bad, but we also have new strains of e coli--the harmful bacteria that causes illness for an estimated 73,000 Americans annually.
We are riddled with widespread obesity, particularly among children, and an epidemic level of diabetes among adults
Featuring interviews with such experts as Eric Schlosser (Fast Food Nation), Michael Pollan (The Omnivore's Dilemma) along with forward thinking social entrepreneurs like Stonyfield Farm's Gary Hirshberg and Polyface Farms' Joel Salatin, Food, Inc. reveals surprising -- and often shocking truths -- about what we eat, how it's produced, who we have become as a nation and where we are going from here.

Movie Reviews
“I gave up the thought of ‘reviewing’ the film and decided to exhort you: SEE IT. BRING YOUR KIDS IF YOU HAVE THEM. BRING SOMEONE ELSE’S IF YOU DON’T. The sheer scale of the movie is mind-blowing. It’s the documentary equivalent of The Matrix.” – David Edelstein, New York Magazine
“MORE THAN A TERRIFIC MOVIE – IT’S AN IMPORTANT MOVIE. Essential and hard to shake.” – Owen Gleiberman, Entertainment Weekly
“FINE, AMBITIOUS AND OFTEN INFURIATING. One of the scariest movies of the year.” – Manohla Dargis, New York Times
“**** It has the same flair for the dramatic and spirit of thorny urgency as ‘An Inconvenient Truth’.” – Amy Biancolli, San Francisco Chronicle

Zambezi Elephant Conservation
Securing habitats for Southern Africa's giants
Descriptions & Plan
Elephants don't know borders.
Elephant populations in Southern Africa roam freely across many countries, seeking food, water, and suitable habitat. As a result, monitoring, protecting, and securing habitats for elephant herds is particularly difficult.
Creating an elephant management strategy.
To answer the call of 40,000 elephants across three countries, and with funding from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and other donor partners, African Wildlife Foundation has brought together all stakeholders in Mozambique, Zambia, and Zimbabwe to develop a Heartland-wide management strategy for the elephants.
In 2003, AWF completed the first-ever coordinated, cross-country aerial survey in this landscape. AWF's conservation work in the Zambezi Heartland landscape was then adjusted to more appropriately focus on securing additional habitat for elephants and other large herbivores. These plans designate zones for wildlife movement corridors, biodiversity conservation/wilderness areas, agriculture and human settlement, tourism development, and fishing and nonfishing.

Tiger and goat sent as his prey forge friendship
A goat sent to a Russian safari park as live prey for a Siberian tiger has instead befriended the big cat and the two have become inseparable in a story that has captivated Russians.
Amur the tiger and Timur the goat now sleep in the same enclosure in the Primorsky safari park outside the Pacific port city of Vladivostok, and the pair eat and play together in the snow and this week even head-butted each other for fun. The story of the unusual friendship has touched hearts in Russia with the safari park releasing regular updates on the pair and planning to install webcams in their enclosure.
Staff at the park say the male tiger, who has been given live animals to hunt and eat twice a week for three years, did not touch the billy goat when it entered the enclosure last month because the goat did not show any fear. "No one had taught the goat to be afraid of tigers," the park said in a statement.
